Impact and Progress Reports
Governments can no longer afford to overlook acidification in mainstream policy agendas. Through the OA Alliance, governments are stepping up and taking policy action. There is much that can be done at different scales of governance (global, regional, national, state and local) if the will is there.
To effectively address ocean acidification, policy makers must understand and harness linkages between climate-ocean change science and policy priorities.
Increased political will and financial support is required to coordinate and expand ocean acidification information for more effective local responses
